Alison Morris

Alison qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne Dental School in 1987. Having worked in General Practice for 17 years in North Wales, she bought Church Street Clinic in June 2004. Since then the Clinic has undergone extensive refurbishment and modernisation. Alison achieved the prestigious Denplan Excel accreditation in 2005 being the first dentist in Oswestry to do so.
She has a keen interest in all aspects of Dentistry but having spent 4 years (one session a week) as a Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics she especially enjoys straightening crooked teeth!
Alison is a certified Invisalign provider. Alison lives in Oswestry with her husband, David and has three grown children, Callum, Ryan and Freya.
Alison also does some facial rejuvenation treatments in the practice, being trained in the cosmetic use of dermal fillers and anti wrinkle treatments.
Alison is a member of The British Dental Association and the The British Dental Health Foundation and regularly attends lectures and courses as part of her continued professional development.

Laura qualified from Kings College London in 2014 via the graduate entry programme for dentistry after completing her first degree in biomedical materials science at the University of Birmingham in 2010.
She is keen in all aspects of dentistry and enjoys learning new things and taking on new challenges.
She is a member of the BDA and regularly attends courses and training sessions as part of her continued professional development.
After working as an associate for 5 years Laura became a partner in the practice in August 2020.
Outside of dentistry she lives locally with her family.
She enjoys travelling and walks in the country.
Jean Jones

Dr Jean Jones qualified in King’s College, London in 1993 then worked at King’s College Hospital in adult restorative care (dentures, periodontal care and cases involving tooth wear) and children’s treatment and practised in London before moving to work as a General Dental Practitioner in Wrexham in 1998.
Since qualifying, she has undertaken her Diploma in General Dental Practice and continued her professional development taking a course in Aesthetic Cosmetic Dentistry with the Tipton Academy in Manchester. She has also undertaken additional training qualifying her to treat patients who suffer from snoring and sleep apnoea: straighten teeth with clear aligners and patients who require treatment for clenching or grinding their teeth.
Jean is happy to assess her patient's needs and discuss what they require to assure the best aesthetic and functional outcome. The importance of a natural and pleasing smile is an integral part of the patient’s care.
She provides treatment for all ages at Church Street Clinic with a wide range of treatment modalities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Jean enjoys the gym especially swimming; she likes baking, reading, gardening and spending time with her friends and family: walking the dog and eating!!
Kremena Nikolova-Varlinkova

Kremena qualified as a dentist from the Faculty of Dental Medicine – Medical University of Sofia in 2000.
In 2006 she started her post-graduation study in the Faculty of Public Health and in 2009 gained her Master’s Degree in Health Management.
After working for 5 years in general practice she went back to Faculty of Dental Medicine and completed a three year post graduation programme to become a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry in 2010.
In 2011 she was awarded a PhD in Paediatric Dentistry after she successfully presented her dissertation ‘DEVELOPMENT OF A SYSTEM FOR ASSESSMENT OF THE ORAL HEALTH OF CHILDREN’. During her PhD study she received the prestigious award ‘’Best research work’’ in the Young Researches 2006 and 2007 Competition.
During her professional career Kremena has been a co-author to several studies and scientific projects in the field of Paediatric Dentistry.
In 2010 she moved to the UK with her family and since then she has been working as an associate dentist. She is keen on all aspects of dentistry, but especially enjoys working with children.
Kremena lives locally with her husband and her son.
In her free time she enjoys walking and spending time with her family and friends.
Callum Morris

Originally from Shropshire, Callum qualified from Newcastle Dental School with a Merit in Clinical Dentistry and has since continued to provide high quality dentistry with excellent patient centred care in the region. Callum has a caring nature and strives to make all of his patients feel positive about their dental visits. He is very friendly and particularly appreciates a good chat, especially with nervous patients.
Callum is passionate about providing minimally invasive dentistry and improving oral health. He has a keen interest in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry and is always looking to incorporate modern digital techniques into his clinical workflow. He has a particularly strong interest in restorative dentistry, having completed postgraduate training in endodontics, composite bonding and smile makeovers. He is also a certified provider of Invisalign (clear braces).
Outside of work, Callum was formerly a ski instructor and owner of an events company. When not spending time socialising with family and friends, he can be found running, playing cricket or struggling in the rough on the golf course.

Dawn Cleverley

Dawn qualified from The University of Bristol Dental School with a CEB Dip Dent Hygiene in 1982. She worked in Saudi Arabia from 1984-1997 for the MODA treating members of the armed forces and families,VIP’s,Diplomats and members of the Royal Family. Dawn spent some time seconded to The Kings Royal Court Clinic moving to Jeddah with the clinic when the court moved in the summer. She also spent some time as a clinical tutor with student hygienists.
Dawn returned home in 1997 joining a practice in Wrexham where she worked with Alison Morris. When Alison bought Church Street Clinic in 2004 Dawn joined her for 2 days a week where she has continued to extend and update her clinical duties.
Outside work, Dawn enjoys Photography, Music, Art and Cooking. She is a member of The British Dental Hygienist Association and The British Dental Health Foundation.

Trudy joined Church Street Clinic in January 2013.
She qualified as a Dental Hygienist from The Royal Liverpool University Dental Hospital in 1995.
She has work in all aspects of Dental Practice since qualifying and returned to North Wales in 2010.
Trudy is married to Karl and has a daughter Libby.
When not in work Trudy enjoys running, gardening and walking her cockerpoo Milo.
Kathy Wright

Kathy comes to us with a wealth of experience. Kathy initially trained as a Dental Nurse in the Royal Army Dental Corps and then worked in the community dental service with children and special needs patients. She has also worked in the maxillofacial department at the Maelor hospital. Kathy trained as a Dental Hygienist at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London 25 years ago and has worked in both NHS and private practices ever since. When she is not working Kathy enjoys walking her two dogs, travelling and scuba diving.
Kathy is available for appointments on a Monday.
Hannah Mader

Hannah joined the team in October 2016 and was promoted first to Nurse Manager and then to Practice Manager..
Hannah has been a dental nurse for the last 17 years, also doing extended duties of Fluoride application, Impression taking and Pouring and casting the models.
She lives in Gobowen with her husband Graham and sons Emmett and Lincoln.
Outside of work her interests include reading, cooking and meeting friends for coffee. She has spent some time volunteering in Ghana, Africa with Orphan children where she found the experience emotional but extremely rewarding.
Jayne Edwards

Jayne is the longest serving member of the team having joined the practice in 1992. She started out on Reception but decided on a career change in 2006 when she returned to surgery work.
She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2007 (NEBDN). Jayne works as reception manager and occasionally in the surgery to keep up her clinical skills.Jayne attends courses on a regular basis as part of her continued Professional development.
Jayne lives with her husband Tony and dog Ernie.
When not in work Jayne enjoys reading, walking and socialising with friends and family and taking holidays abroad.
Vanessa Green
Vanessa joined the team on a part time basis in January 2017 and works on Reception.
She moved to the area in 2015 with her husband. In her spare time Vanessa likes going to concerts, walking, travelling and spending time with her family.
Steph Edwards
Steph joined the practice in June 2004 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2006 with the National Certificate in Dental Nursing (NEBDN).
She gained her certificate in Oral Health Education in 2008 and passed her Sedation Nursing Exam with merit in 2011 after studying at Liverpool Dental Hospital after which she was awarded the SAAD prize for most outstanding candidate in 2011/2012.
Steph lives locally with her husband and three children.
When not in work she enjoys holidays abroad and socialising with friends and family.
Sarah Evans
Sarah joined the practice in March 2007 after a career break.
She passed her Dental Nurse exams after attending a year long course in Chester (NEBDN) and qualified in May 2010. She works full time in the surgery.
Sarah attends courses on a regular basis as part of her continued Professional development.
Sarah has 2 daughters and when not working Sarah enjoys taking her dog for long walks and spending time with her family.
Stacey Gregory
Stacey joined us at Church Street Clinic in November 2014.
She is a qualified Dental Nurse gaining her qualification in 2010.
Stacey works full time in the surgery.
Lisa Wilson
Lisa joined us at Church Street Clinic in May 2021.
She is a qualified Dental Nurse gaining her qualification in 2010.
She has work in all aspects of Dental Practice since qualifying.
She is married with two children and has 2 dogs and a horse.
In her spare time she like spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
She enjoys walking her dogs and going out on her horse, she also plays in the Minsterley and District rounders league in the summer for Oswestry ladies' team.
Ani Jones

Ani joined us at CSC in April 2023.
She qualified as a Dental nurse in 2020 with the National Diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN.
Ani lives in Oswestry with her husband and son.
When not in work Ani loves to travel, learn about different cultures and spending quality time with friends and family.

Lenka joined the CSC team at the end of November 2021 as a Trainee Dental Nurse.
She has recently completed a course at Walsall College to gain her Dental Nurse qualifications.
Lenka loves spending time with her family and friends.
She loves the sun and going on holidays, spending time going on coastal and mountain walks with her partner, two daughters and their dog.

She attended a course at Wrexham to obtain her NEBDN dental nurse qualification and qualified in March 2024.

Victoria Hughes

Vik joined the practice in November 2021. She has spent the last 14 years working in retail and is now working in the decontamination room and on reception..
Vik lives in Oswestry and when not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Katie Horn
Katie graduated from Matthew Boulton College in Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry in 2004. After graduation, she worked as part of the Shropshire PCT Podiatry team for eight years working in clinical practice, diabetic foot screening and nail surgery.
She is available for appointments Tuesday to Thursday and the occasional Monday.
All appointments are 30 minutes duration.
Katie is registered with The Health and care Professions Council, is an active committee member for the Royal College of Podiatry. Out of hours Katie loves reading, gardening and cooking for the masses. She lives with her husband, dog and cat.
Katie is married with two daughters and spends her spare time cooking for the masses.

Edward trained as an advanced hypnotherapist in 2004 at the Atkinson-Ball College, a specialised hypnotherapy training school established for over 30 years. He was invited to join the exclusive Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy, an organisation that requires advanced training before a hypnotherapist is invited to become a member.
