Policy

It is our policy for each patient to see one dentist on an ongoing basis. However, if this is not possible for any reason, suitable alternative arrangements will be made for you to see someone else within the practice.

Private Treament

All the Dentists in Church Street Clinic work independently of the NHS for all fee paying adults and new adult patients to the practice. After your examination, a written estimate of your treatment costs will be supplied. If there are any significant changes for any reason, an updated estimate will be given. We also offer our patients very competitively priced monthly payment plans with Denplan, which will enable you to budget for your treatment, ask your dentist or reception for more details. Children will be seen on the NHS.

Anxious

Some people feel a deep seated anxiety about visits to the dentist. We understand. Please feel free to discuss your fears with us and we will do everything we can to help.

Emergency Service

If you are in pain outside surgery hours, please telephone the practice where our answer phone will give you the contact number for the on call dentist local to Oswestry.

Protection

As a caring practice we take all necessary precautions to safeguard both patients and staff against infections. We follow recommended guidelines with regards to sterilisation of instruments and use disposable items wherever possible.

Charges/Payment

Our fees are very competitive, and a full estimate will be given on or shortly after your first appointment. You will be asked to settle your account at the end of each visit. Accounts may be settled by debit cards, major credit cards or by cash.

Appointments

We always try to see patients at the appointed time, if you are kept waiting, there is normally a good reason. Please be patient. If you have to cancel an appointment please give 24 hours notice, as this enables us to make alternative arrangements. There may be a charge for appointments broken without adequate notice, which we are unable to fill.

Facilities for the disabled

We have surgeries available on the ground floor along with a disabled toilet. These are accessible from the car park at the rear of the practice.
